About this Qualification
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 14 and above. The NCFE Functional Skills qualification in ICT is an ideal qualification for learners wishing to develop practical, transferable skills in ICT to work confidently, effectively, and independently in life. It is suitable for a wide range of individuals and is fundamental to the successful completion of various wider qualifications and frameworks, such as the Diploma and Apprenticeships.
Remote Invigilation
Learners are now able to complete online/onscreen external assessments at home using our remote invigilation solution. Also referred to as remote proctoring, remote invigilation allows a learner to be observed via audio and visual links when completing their online/onscreen external assessment at home.

Life in UK
The Life in the UK Test is not very challenging as it will test your knowledge of all aspects of British history, customs, and traditions; generally, life in the UK.
This test has 5 different categories, these include:
- UK principles and values
- UK Geography
- UK History
- UK Society
- UK Government and your role within this.
Qualification is B1, B2, and A1.
